Cross Country Championship 2016

Pupils did really well in the annual district Cross Country Championship on Friday 11th November. We are very proud of the effort that representing pupils put in. Thank you so much for all of your efforts.

 

KS2 Kho Kho Festival

Wow! What an amazing day! I think it is fair to say that Lickhill pupils were the stars of the show in the latest Kho Kho Festival, held at the Stourport Arena on Friday 2nd December 2016. Not only did we win all of the games that we played, but we also came top in the whole festival! We are so very proud of each and every one of the pupils that took part; not only did you represent our school to the highest standards with your behaviour and etiquette but your effort and determination was outstanding. Thank you so much for all of your efforts.

 

KS2 Netball League 2017

The annual Wyre Forest Netball League is coming up! Running over a period of 4 weeks, teams will be battling it out to the top position at the Stourport Dome.

Our first tournament matches will begin in March 2017. Final dates to be confirmed.

 

Upcoming Events:

Intra-school Netball Tournament 2017

Lickhill’s KS2 intra-school Spring tournaments are coming up! Ks2 will be battling it out in their house teams to earn points for their colour houses (red – Gryffindor, yellow – Hufflepuff, blue – Ravenclaw and green – Slytherin). Year 3 and 4 will be competing in the exciting game of Softball and Year 5 and 6 pupils will fight for the top spot in the tactically skilful game of Netball! The intra-school competition will be ran on Thursday 9th April 2017. All year groups are busy preparing for this event so watch this space!

 

Dance Festival 2017

On Thursday 23rd March, Lickhill will be taking a selection of pupils to the annual Stourport Family’s Dance Festival. We are all very excited for the event and very much look forward to showing off a range of high-quality dance performances.

We are writing this letter to inform you that the cake sale went really well. We raised £113.70!

World Book Day! A celebration!

Water, water!

This week the school were lucky enough to have a visit from Mr Paul Tingle from Severn Trent. He gave a very amusing assembly on the importance of saving water, which the children really enjoyed.
