Sports Day

Key Stage One Sports day went off with a bang!! We had fantastic weather and it was lovely to see so many friends and family here to support us.

Year 6 did a fantastic job of setting up, organising the different activities and tidying up.

All of the children were really up for having a go at everything and there were lots of giggles along the way too. First we did a round robin of activities including penalty shoot-out, beanbag throw, hurdles and agility. After this, we moved over to the track where we ran several races – skipping, beanbag and bat balancing and skipping.

The morning was finished off by having a lovely family picnic all together on the field. To celebrate back in class, the children all had an ice pop kindly donated by the PTA to cool down.

Water, water!
