Y3 + Y4 Exploring Stourport

Our children are currently learning all about their local environment.  We walked into Stourport to start off our new topic looking at the locality.  The children did a photo identification mapping activity and we stopped for some sketching.  We had lunch at the Civic Centre and this also gave us a chance to see the stage for our performance of Little Red Riding Hood in a few weeks time.

The children came back full of questions about the canal, rivers and local history which we will be researching in the topic.  A big thank you to all the parents who made the trip possible.
