CORONA VIRUS UPDATES
As a school we are following the direct guidelines set out by the Government.

Lickhill Primary School is closed to most pupils as of Tuesday January 5th due to the government announcement of a second full lockdown. It remains open for small bubbles of critical worker and vulnerable families, but with strict criteria due to maintaining staffing levels. There will still be many restrictions, especially for dropping off and collection of children so that we can keep all our Lickhill families, including staff safe during these uncertain times.
There is a higher expectation from the Department of Education during this lockdown for at least 3 hours of study in school or at home each day in Key Stage 1 and 3-4 hours in Key Stage 2. As we understand that sharing devices and access is difficult and supporting your children whilst working from home creates logistical issues, we have not demanded time tabled live lessons, but have supports to lessons so these can be accessed from your Edmodo accounts when this suits individual families. We are still available to support you, but please keep requests to working hours for staff as there are huge pressures for staff to balance face-to-face learning with remote learning.
