Vicki Campbell – Chair – Parent Governor
Qualifications: I have a degree in interior Design.
Work history: My current role is in sales for a Shipping company. I was previously sales director, procurement manager, business development manager, UK transport manager and European transport manager.
Curriculum: I am the SEND governor as well as The arts, and PE.
Interests: I enjoy reading, travelling, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
I wanted to be a governor to help Lickhill reach its full potential, assisting the school to be able to invest in the learning and development of the children.
Julia Morse – Parent Governor and Vice Chair
Qualifications: Qualified as an adult nurse (2007)
Work history: For 20 years, I have worked in the health and social care sector, from voluntary carer at the age of 16, then qualifying as a nurse and then in 2008 I moved to be a regulator .
Curriculum: English (also safeguarding and health and safety)
Passion/interests: spending quality family time with my boys and husband, walking our two sausage dogs and cooking.
I believed in the Lickhill ethos, which is why I chose Lickhill for my boys to attend. I had considered being a governor for a while, and when the opportunity arose for a parent governor I put myself forward. I have always had a passion for helping others, driving improvement and striving for quality. I thought that my skills and experience in my working role could be transferable into a governor role to help and support Lickhill.
Andrew McKay (Chair of Finance) Community Governor
Fiona Perks – Parent Governor
Qualifications: AAT qualified Accounting Technician. CIMA Qualified accountant
Work history: Current role: Director of my Bookkeeping company, providing Bookkeeping services to small to medium businesses within the surrounding area .Previous job: Branch financial Accountant for a multi national engineering company, responsible for the accounting function (8 Years). Previous job : Financial Accountant within a Head Office of a skin care business with over 30 clinics nationwide. Responsible for 2 members of staff. I have worked within finance departments in industry for over 15 years which has given me great exposure to many areas of finance at all levels.
Passion/interests: I started my business in March 2019 so am very passionate about making a success of this whilst also achieving a good work, life balance for my family. I have a young family and we love to spend time together outdoors walking our Dog and spending time as a family.
I believe my experience gives me a good financial and ethical background and as my son has joined Reception class and my second child will join the school in 2022 I am keen to help ensure that the school continues to be held to the high standards that it already achieves.
Anna Tyler – Community Governor
Qualifications: Chartered Banker & CertRBCB
Work history: I am currently a Department Manager within The Financial Support Team for a global bank. My department specialises in supporting vulnerable customers in financial difficulty. I have 18 years worth of banking experience leading Retail, Premier and Business Teams within multiple organisations.
Curriculum: I am the PSHE governor as well as The Arts and PE.
Interests: I absolutely love watching my son Jack play football! I also enjoy reading, a good ramble with beautiful scenery and listening to music.
Why you wanted to be/are a Governor: I love the warm, family feel of Lickhill Primary along with the love and care all staff show the children. I want to be able to transfer some of my skills to assist Lickhill in maintaining their already high standards and reach their full potential. My day job involves formal governance and I have a particular interest in understanding how governance is adhered to in an education setting.
Charlotte Crowther – Parent Governor
Qualifications: Qualified as a hair stylist over 10 years ago.
Work history: My current role is working for myself as a mobile hair stylist to enable me to spend more time with my children while young. Previously, I worked as a Salon Manger in a busy salon.
Curriculum: Early years, History and Modern Languages.
Passion/ interests: I enjoy reading, keeping fit, tending to our family allotment and spending time with family and friends.
Why you wanted to be/are a Governor: Lickhill is a warm and inviting school, which is why I chose it for my children. I believe that early education is the best foundation for a child to grow into a happy and healthy adult. I want to support the school to reach its full potential.
Laura Minor - Staff Governor
Qualifications: I have a degree in Early Childhood Studies.
Work: I currently work as part of the Administration team at Lickhill Primary School, supporting the Senior Leadership Team. I am also self-employed in an administrative role supporting various local small businesses. Volunteering on local community projects is something I thoroughly enjoy doing too!
Curriculum: I have no curriculum role but I have received professional Thrive training and am able to support this strategy in the school.
Passion/Interests: One of my main interests is supporting the local community with local events such as Stourport Carnival and the Three Kings Parade.
Why you wanted to be/are a Governor: I wanted to become a staff governor of Lickhill Primary School to represent all Lickhill Staff on the governing body and to bring a fresh perspective the board. I feel very strongly about community spirit and feel that this is another way that I can help Lickhill Primary School become involved in the wider community.
