Our adventures and learning in spring term....

The children enjoyed a visit from the Police who taught us all about keeping safe. We made a car wash outside We made a Chinese Dragon for Chinese New Year Then we did a dragon dance for year 1 We kept ourselves warm with a fire in Forest School We made castles in clouds like Jack and The Beanstalk We dressed up as our Favourite book characters and so did the grown ups too! Can you guess the book? We bounced to raise money for new books for our school We made a train in the garden. All Aboard!

When the animals came to visit....

Our Autumn Term so far...... We have been very busy learning about colours and colour mixing to see what we can make, learning about our faces and our emotions and what we can hear in the world around us!

Doing a spot of cooking. We have gone outside as much as we can, dodging the rain at times! Experimenting with colour mixing Using different materials to make faces. Using our fine motor skills to sort the colours into groups. Enjoying being outside We made listening ears to hear the sounds around us Using our smelling sense to smell different scents and smells. Playing Doctors Making music in the garden Cheese! Putting up our christmas tree Making houses for owls
