The Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II

Children at Lickhill Primary celebrated the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a fun packed and royal themed morning of fun activities, which included, sports activities, flag making, designing a crown and making cucumber sandwiches! All Year groups were mixed up together and children worked in trios. We are so proud of the way the the older children helped the younger ones with such care and consideration. We were very lucky to have a visit from our own member of the Royal Family, before the morning was drawn to a suitable close with the everyone joining together in the playground to sing the National Anthem. This was followed by a 'street party' style lunch outside.
