What a week for year 4!

What a week this has been! On Monday we  launched the discovery topic on Portraiture and The Tudors for Year 3 and 4. The children were able to try on Tudor clothes and have their photograph taken. Later that day they tried some Tudor dancing, straight backs and serious expressions were part of the whole effect.

Tuesday saw all children try their very best in the school cross country challenge. Their resilient attitude was commendable. It was lovely to see them supporting eachother throughout the sessions.

All week we have been playing games to deepen our knowledge of place value. Great fun! 

Later this week we will be completing our colour spots for the whole school display...
