Year 5 shadow investigation

It was wonderful to be out in the sunshine investigating shadows.  We will use this data in class to demonstrate the movement of the earth relative to the sun 🌞. 

We also saw the moon and understand why it sometimes appears in the day time and it was fun to shout 'waxing gibbous' and 'waning half' at it! 🙂😄
