Year 4 Science: Classification
Sun 10 Jan 2021In the last week of term, Year 4 looked closely at some of the animals that live in our pond. Carefully noticing body structure and shape, they were able to use classification cards to identify a variety of species. We were amazed by the vast amount of life in one small pond water sample. Fascinating! -
Clarinet
Sun 10 Jan 2021In the last week of term, Year 4 had their first live Clarinet lesson. It was amazing! The difference in their ability to produce beautiful notes increased incredibly quickly during the time Mr Tattum was with us. Sitting far apart, facing forward and sanitising hands regularly meant we had a very enjoyable yet safe lesson. -
Roman Food in Forest School
Sun 10 Jan 2021Last term, Year 4 were making Roman bread and a drink called Posca, which everyday Romans and the soldiers would have had. We cooked the bread over a fire and tasted the drink, it was quite vinegary!
