  • Christmas Sing Song round the Fire in Forest School.

    Fri 20 Dec 2019
Year 4 enjoyed a festive Christmas Sing Song in Forest school this week. Jingle Bells and We Wish You a Merry Christmas were to be heard from deep within the forest. The afternoon was 'topped off' with toasted marshmallows around the fire. Great Fun!
  • Year 4 Cornet Christmas Concert!

    Fri 20 Dec 2019
This Christmas Lickhill was treated to a spectacular cornet concert. With tinsel on their instruments and festive hats, the children played a variety of their learned pieces and finished with a superb performance of Jingle Bells. After only a term learning this brass instrument, they have proved that listening and trying your best really does 'pay off'. Well done Year 4.
  • Vibrant calendars

Tue 17 Dec 2019 Mrs McLeod
Love these calendars from Year 6...look out for the texture and detail in the background as well as the bright representation of the four seasons. Well done!
  • Ravenhurst Choir

Mon 16 Dec 2019 Mrs Rodriguez

    What a treat!

The whole school piled into the hall today to be serenaded to the wonderful choir from Ravenhurst - a local residential home. They sang some familiar Christmas songs, songs from films, as well as a few older ones which were unfamiliar to us. The ladies and gent, blew us away with their enthusiasm and beautiful voices. They had a treat too because our clarinetists performed to them!

Our choir recently visited them to perform so today they returned the favour and really brightened up a Monday morning.

    Thank you!

Forest School is one of our favourite times of the week, we learn risk taking skills, turn taking and helping others to name a few.
  • Children In Need 2019

Mon 09 Dec 2019 Jane Lloyd
On Friday 15th November, we fund raised for Children in Need this year with a sporty theme and RAW Buddies supported each other to complete a variety of fun and energetic activities in the hall. The whole school had a busy day and raised funds by making a donation so that they could wear sporty clothes and get active for Children in Need. Even the staff were in the sporting spirit! Thank you to everyone for your support.
  • Three Kings' Parade Stourport

Mon 09 Dec 2019 Jane Lloyd
What an incredible evening we all had on Friday 22nd November 2019. Thank you to all the parents, friends and children from Lickhill who came along to the Civic to join us in the parade this year. Mr Minor and club children helped to create an incredible "float" from a shopping trolley and the Christmas sleigh pulled by reindeer was spectacular!!! So amazing, that we won the competition and received £100 from the Mayor of Stourport and the Council. The weather was very kind and this was a delightful community kick start to the Christmas season. Even our lovely Mrs Lampitt led the parade with the Elfin band!!!
  • Year 6 fractions immersion

Thu 05 Dec 2019 Mrs McLeod
Year 6 made a fabulous start to our new fractions topic with a range of practical activities to remind ourselves what they are all about. Super recall and engagement from all!
