Snapshot of our fantastic week learning about Japan! 

Year 3 and 4 have been learning about the many festivals which are celebrated around the world. To foster ‘awe and wonder’ in the curriculum, we celebrated Holi to welcome spring. The afternoon was a very special one; beautiful and sunny- just right for moving forward forgetting 'grumpy' feelings and feeling positive about the future.

Holi celebrates the arrival of spring, the end of winter and the blossoming of love and for many It is a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships. The festival also celebrates the beginning of a good harvest season.
