  • Year 6 move!

Wed 12 Jun 2019 Mrs McLeod
With the help of various members of staff (thank you Mrs Mallard, Rob, Sophie, Mrs Jones, Mrs Lloyd and Mrs Sharman) and the indomitable Year 6 children (woop!), our move to our new classroom (the old Year 3 room) went swiftly and smoothly.  It's looking a bit bare, but is fully functional. We're finding it a little strange to live in a mirror image of our previous room, but it's good to be settling in. Good luck to Year 5 for their move next week!
  • New Build Revealed!

    Tue 11 Jun 2019
On Thursday 11th June the new school building work was officially opened by Mrs Davies. Governors, staff and children gathered in the brand new corridor to watch the opening ceremony. As you will see from these photographs, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are all happily installed in their marvelous new rooms.
  • Year 6 run the KS1 sports day!

Thu 06 Jun 2019 Mrs McLeod
Year 6 excelled themselves with their kindness, willingness to help and community spirit. Thanks to all involved (especially Mrs Jones), it ran beautifully smoothly.
  • Violin Lessons in Year 4

    Wed 05 Jun 2019
Year 4 are coming on beautifully with their violin playing. Each week they achieve so much more than I ever expected them to.  Watch out for the concert in July for parents, where the children will be showing off all their musical skills.
  • Year 6 enjoy some practical maths

Wed 05 Jun 2019 Mrs McLeod
We had a great time building 3D shapes from nets - as you can see, Year 6 took it very seriously. 😁
  • Real Life Maths

    Mon 03 Jun 2019 Reception

This week the children have been learning about fractions!  Yes, fractions in Reception!

We are very food orientated in Reception and what better way to learn fractions than through making sandwiches!  They have learnt about whole, halves and quarters!  They even had a sneaky snack in the afternoon and ate their creations!  Look at the writing that they produced as well as the Maths that they learnt!
